I recently did an interview with Arune from Comic Book Resources that you can find here! I really liked the way the interview turned out. I'm supposed to see Einsturzende Neubauten this evening and I have a ton of Work to do on Vampyrates... so, by for now.

5 - 06 - 04

Yeah!!! The new pages look cool and they really help the story. John Tighe is inking pages as I type and we should be done by Monday. Tom Long is going to re-letter the book for me. I lettered a version, but if you've ever seen my lettering... you know how important it is that Tom is lettering the book. The book will go out next week and we should see copies by the end of the month... phew.. what a long journey...

Phew... between taxes.. work and the movie... I'm lucky to be working on Vampyrates at all. We got our numbers for the book and we're really happy. I thought people would want to check this book out.. and if the retailers are any sign of that... I'.ll be a very happy man. Lot's to talk about.. but look for the book in about a month.. yay...

I've been coloring like a madman lately. I have four pages left to color not counting the six I'm drawing right now. The story works much better with the added pages. I can't wait to see this in print. I'm debating wether I should post any more pages before the comic goes to print. I don't want to ruin anything yet I really want to post some new art... oh well.. we'll see.

I've been coloring like a mad man in between my regular coloring work. Vampyrates is looking pretty cool. I've done a few interviews over the past week in promotion of the book. I hope to see some of them soon. It looks like the final actual story pages will be about 32 pages.. yeeesh. plus the 14 page Kindergoth story, only leaves 2 pages for ads/bios. Oh well.. better for the readers.

We're trying to update the site as much as possible. The gallery now has an early color version of the J.H. Williams cover up. The character section is now up on the site. I should get back to coloring.... keep checking back...

Yay!!! The new Previews came out and we're in it. Check out page 236 for our Spotlight. We also have a pretty cool ad on page 233. Wow... this feels really cool. Also, more updates to the site today. We try to update every Wednesday... so keep checking back....
