If you've been looking for updates on the film... I've been posting them on my myspace site here... blah. Good news is... the movie is trucking along. I'm trying to have something viewable by the end of September. It will be ugly. Bad sound... incorrect soundtrack... no color corrections... but damn... at least it's somewhere to go from. Comic work has been eating my everything, but I've been better at managing my time. I've had some drive problems and found a work around fitting my current budget. Within the week, the site will go down just in time for comic con. I'm switching servers and there will be anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks of down time... so don't stress... ha...

Not much new news. Busy working. I finished Catwoman 55 this weekend and tomorrow I finish Deadman 2... i.e. not much time for editing. Cool news is that Davey is down later this month and I hope to have him look over my shoulder a bit. After next Tuesday I plan on having some editor friends over to discuss some stuff. All behind the scenes boring kind of things going on... hopefully more next week.. .more than likely the week after that.

Hey there,
Two weeks in a row!!! Woo Hoo!!! Okay, not much new to report. I'm working on technical stuff this evening. Not necessarily fun, but it has to be done. How ya diggin the photos... sorta egomanical in a me sorta way. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be uploading shots from the movie until the actual trailer, but I want to keep you up to date with what's going on... so... I'll be giving you peeks at my work space and meetings I have with other editors, musicians and stuff. Eventually there'll be the pick up shots and some of the animation stuff. Ahhhh.. the ambition is scaring you away. Don't go... I'll be all alone. The scene I'm working on now actually inter-cuts with another scene, but I'll be editing them separately so I can give something to Steve to adds some effect to. If he hasn't washed his hands of me. I'll be updating midweek/weekend more about the scene I'm working on. This blog type format will also be under the editing section. I need to sit with Lance or Julia to figure some site stuff out as I go along, so everything works. As of tomorrow afternoon, I'm completely caught up on all my work (day job coloring comics for DC comics) and I plan on using the end of this week for what I've deemed an anti-vacation. I'm going to work twice as hard as normal to see if I can get extremely ahead on my books so I have more time for the movie. Why can't I just be rich... well I guess I am rich with friends...
One thing I need to do is contact everyone that thinks I've fallen off the end of the earth.

My god... 2005 sucked. It was supposed to be the year I finished Gothic Cowboy and showed it a few festivals. Man plans and god laughs. Well, I could spend this time whining about how lame things were or I can focus on how great things will be. I prefer the latter... or is that ladder? Lather?
Details on what I accomplished last week on the film. Talked to Ron, Audrie, Jesse, Ian, Daye, Cody, ect. ect... and promised new info was coming soon. Well, I plan on updating every Monday if not more from here on out. I updated the database for the movie last week and it's invigorated me like you wouldn't believe. Next week is ideally working on the Toy Barn scene and having Keith and possibly Brandon over to help with some difficulties. Davey is supposed to come down in April... more on that later. Well before I get ahead of myself... start checking back again... I aim to please...
